Tasting Notes: Our 2019 Verdelho is from the Hunter Valley, New South Wales, where hot summer conditions are ideal for this varietal. The vintage is pale straw in colour with a green hue, the nose carries aromas of rich tropical fruits layered over musk and citrus tones. On the palate are tropical characteristics of ripe melon and passionfruit balanced by a natural fruit sweetness and a refreshing zesty citrus finish.

Expert Review The Real Review - Huon Hooke
"Pale colour and a fresh, clean, aromatic nose that reminds of confectionery. Musksticks. It's light and straightforward, clean and crisp and well-made. A clean, simple, everyday wine which doesn't rely over-much on sweetness. Very good.14/3/2018"

Verdelho is quite a versatile wine and pairs well with shellfish, particularly freshly shucked oysters. The tropical fruitiness of Verdelho also allows it to pair well with spicy Asian dishes.
