Vintage: 2017
Region: Hunter Valley, NSW
Winemaker: Liz Jackson
Tasting Notes: Our 2017 Cradle Shiraz is a vibrant plum red in colour. The nose carries notes of red fruit and plums with an undertone of earthy herbs and mocha. On the palate this wine is medium bodied and traditional Hunter Valley with rich and full tones of mulberries and blackcurrant, supported by fresh spicy tannins. Balanced oak helps deliver the finished wine with a soft finish and good length. This wine is drinking well now but will also evolve and cellar well over the next 10 years. -

Dan Murphy's Wine Panel 93 points
"Sweet fruited, red fruit, red currant spectrum, bright, medium weight, gently spiced, lifted macerated fruit. Modern style, very drinkable." -
