Pinot Gris 2019 - Wins GOLD again!
This is the second consecutive gold medal win for our Pinot Gris varietal in this competition with the 2018 vintage also winning a Gold medal last year.
Sixty-eight different grape varieties were entered into the show from a large range of different countries. Wines from twelve different countries, and more than fifty different regions were entered in this year’s competition.
"The premise of this show has always been; wine is best consumed with food. The initial phase of judging is with two judges per panel, one “style” judge and one “technical” judge. At the completion of this phase the selected wines move forward to be judged again, this time with food." said Warren Gibson, Chairman of the Sydney International Wine Competition.
Our Pinot Gris was judged with a dish of Prawn Quenelle with Butter Sauce prepared by chef Michael Manners. Try this for yourself with a couple glasses of our gold winning 2019 Pinot Gris!
